Asian Integrated School (AIS) was conceptualized and formed by a group of Muslim Filipinos working and residing in Qatar. The aim is to establish an Islamic School where their children can avail of the education using Philippine Curriculum with an integration of Islamic education and tested methods which can enhance and improve the level of their education. After so many years of sacrifices, hardships and difficulties, a kind and generous Althani family supported their great endeavor. Thus the partnership of the Board of Directors, who represents the various Muslim tribes of Filipinos in Qatar, and Sheikh Abdulla Althani and Sheikh Abdul Aziz Althani was formed to establish the first Muslim Filipino School in the Middle East. On June 26, 2011, AIS finally opened its door to the community of Qatar to deliver quality, global and Islamic education. The school caters not only to Muslims but to non-Muslim students as well. Likewise, the school is not only limited to Filipino students but other nationalities are very much welcome to have a multi-cultural environment which will greatly help in the development of the child to realize its dictum “Beyond Global Education”.
